As the Halloween candy and dessert frenzy comes to an end, your body may be telling you that it's time to get back to a balanced, healthy diet! And it's only fitting that the fresh morning should be greeted with a glass of homemade, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice or coffee, accompanied by a few slices of golden, crispy toast.
Fruit and Vegetable Juice
** INGREDIENTS **
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
- Half a cucumber, sliced
- A handful of spinach leaves
- Juice of half a lemon
** METHOD **
- Wash all the ingredients.
- Place apple, carrot and cucumber in a juicer.
- Add spinach leaves and lemon juice.
- Start the juicer and squeeze all ingredients.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy straight away.
Coffee
** INGREDIENTS **
- Ethiopia Yirgacheffe beans (citrus, tangy, fragrant, floral, refreshing, sweet aftertaste)
- Fresh water
** METHOD **
- Put the beans in the grinder and adjust the grind to your taste.
- Pour the appropriate amount of water into the water reservoir.
- Start the machine and wait for the coffee extraction to finish.
- Pour into a cup and add milk or sugar to taste
Toaster
** INGREDIENTS **
- Slices of fresh bread
- Butter or olive oil
** METHOD **
- Place the slices of bread in the slots of a toaster.
- Spread a thin layer of butter or olive oil on the slices.
- Start the toaster and wait until the slices are golden brown.
- Remove and serve with your favourite jam or honey.
