Troubleshooting

1, Any requirements for the water used for heat dissipation?

In AC mode, the water is used to cool down the condenser, so that the temperature of the air passing through the evaporator could be kept as same as the room temperature. If the water's temperature is higher than room temperature, it will increase the room temperature. In another side, if the water contains lots of salty material, it would be deposited onto condenser, affecting the machine's efficiency, so it is better to use clean cold water.

2, When do we need to drain the waster water?

There is a tray at the bottom of machine. it will receive the condensed water and the water from water tank. When the moisture is too high, the condensed water from evaporator is much more than the water supplied from water tank, you need to drain the waste water in time. Otherwise, you can not start air conditioning function or dehumidifying function.

3, Does the machine work normally if no water in AC mode?

Yes, the machine could work. but the machine would give out prompt that you should add water into the tank. Because the temperature of air passing through the condenser would higher than room temperature, and affect your cooling efficiency.

4, Does the machine work if the tank is full of water in dry mode?

No, the machine will stop working. When water tank is full, if the machine did not stop, it would continue to produce water, and cause water overflow out of the machine. There is a sensor in water tank, Once it is full, the sensor will feel it and stop the machine.

5, Is it OK to tilt the machine when it is working?

It is not allowed to let the machine stand on tilt surface to work. it would cause overflow and dirty your floor. when product is tilted, the sensor could not feel the water level properly and too much water in the tray would flow out.

6, Is it OK to dry clothes cover on the air outlet or outlet ?

It is not allowed to let the wet clothes cover the air outlet or inlet for drying. it will damage the machine.

7, What maintenance does this air conditioner need?

After using some time, please clean the machine's surface, clean the filter screen, clean water tank and drain the waste water in time.

8, What is the problem with Error code P3 on display?

When error code P3 appears on display panel of machine, it means that the current ambient temperature T < 16℃ or T > 40℃  is detected for 60s in the AC and DRY mode.
Please check if your room temperature is lower than 16℃ , or higher than 40℃ , if yes, it is not suitable for using this machine. Otherwise, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

9, What is the problem with Error code E8 on display?

When error code E8 appears on display panel of machine, it means that the water tray is full of water. Please drain tray. by,the way, please check if the product is tilted, if yes, please place the product on flat ground. If the error happens in dry mode, please check if float in water tank is stuck or not. If you have checked all these points, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

10, What is the problem when icon at the upper left corner of fan speed is light up(showing as the one in right side?

‘Filter dust full reminder ’ at the upper corner of fan speed turns red on display panel of machine, indicating that the machine runs for more than 250 hours. In order to remind the user to clean the  filter screen in time. After cleaning, please press the icon of dehumidifying button for 3 seconds to  remove it. 11, What are the problem when Error code E1, E2, E3, E6, E7 appear?

When these error codes appear, please restart the machine, if the error code could not disappear, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

12,  The  machine is not powered on and all functions of the machine doesn't work.

Please check the power supply in your house is workable or not. if the power source is good in your house, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

13, The machine doesn't cool or dehumidify.

Please check the ambient temperature. if the temperature is within 16-40℃, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

14, In fanning mode, The machine does not output air after it starts running.

Please restart the machine. If restarting doesn't work, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

15, The fan speed could not be changed.

Please restart the machine. If restarting doesn't work, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

16, The fan swing could not be started.

Please restart the machine. If restarting doesn't work, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

17, Cooling or dehumidifying function is much poor.

  1. Please check the voltage in your house is the same as the requested on on the rating label. if not, please use a transformer to adjust it as the requested one in the label.
  2. Please check if the machine is closed to wall or if there is any something blocking the air inlet or outlet. if yes, please remove the blocking stuffs or move the machine to someplace 30mm far way from the wall.
  3. Please clean the filter screens on the machine. If above actions doesn't work, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com

18, The machine is too noisy.

Firstly, please check if the machine is placed horizontally. If not, please place it on flat ground. Secondly, please check if the magnets of grilles are good not, if not good,   please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com.

19, Water overflows.

  1. Please check if the machine is placed horizontally. If not, please place it on flat ground.
  2. Please check if the water tank is cracked or leaks. If yes, please contact us via email: service@morphyrichards.com
  3. Please check the float in water tank is good or not, if not, release it.
